About Cedar Valley Roller Derby
The Cedar Valley Roller Derby (CVRD) is a flat track roller derby league, founded in February 2010 in Northeast Iowa. CVRD is a grassroots organization formed by a small, but diverse, group of women; determined to see their dreams of roller derby become a reality for the Cedar Valley of Iowa.
Our Mission
The mission of Cedar Valley Roller Derby is to promote and grow the sport of women's flat track roller derby by providing opportunities for athletic achievement, leadership development, and personal growth. We foster an inclusive and supportive environment built on teamwork, integrity, and good sportsmanship while strengthening our community through volunteerism, outreach, and collaboration with fellow roller derby leagues.
