About Cedar Valley Roller Derby

Mission:

The mission of Cedar Valley Roller Derby is to further the sport of women’s flat track roller derby; while promoting the personal growth and development of each derby sister.

CVRD is a vehicle by which we hope to provide the women of the Cedar Valley the opportunity to be a part of a truly unique athletic experience. We aim to develop our skills, not only as fierce competitors, but also as productive members of our communities. CVRD will facilitate athletic development, good sportsmanship and will maintain a positive relationship with fellow roller derby leagues.

CVRD will actively support the communities of the Cedar Valley. All members of our league will foster and generate goodwill and community stewardship through our good works.

About:

Cedar Valley Roller Derby (CVRD) is an all-female flat track roller derby league, founded in February 2010 in Northeast Iowa. CVRD is a grassroots organization formed by a small, but diverse, group of women; determined to see their dreams of roller derby become a reality for women throughout the Cedar Valley of Iowa.
